If you've been a bit fed up of staying in your house all year, why not have a change of scenery by winning a different one instead - just in time for Christmas?
Edinburgh Live previously reported how the five bedroomed family home - 62 Alexander Street in Airdrie- is being raffled by the owner, with some of the proceeds going to St Andrew's Hospice in the North Lanarkshire town.
The raffle closing date is now fast-approaching, and the draw is set for 20 December.
It's no ordinary house, either. The handsome home has five double bedrooms, with the master and bedroom three offering the additional benefit of en-suite shower rooms. Oh, and there's also a sauna in the attic.
It also has landscaped gardens and a detached garage. It's not that far from Edinburgh, either- about an hour in good traffic. But if you work from. home these days then it doesn't really matter whereabouts you stay!
It might seem too good to be true, but we interviewed the man behind the raffle about why he's doing it, and it certainly makes for interesting reading. Mr Leckie - an executive coach originally from Airdrie who currently lives in Singapore - explained that he is planning to donate at least £150,000 from the raffle to St Andrew's Hospice in Airdrie, but his charitable work definitely doesn't stop there.
He's also hoping to use some of the money to fund other charities as well, and also plans to do a 250km trek across the Sahara desert soon to raise vital funds for acid victims in India. His wife is originally from India and the pair look after a couple of childrens' homes over there, these too will benefit from the fundraising raffle.
The house is currently valued at £570,000. The original closing date for the competition was March 2020 but has been extended to 20 December 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
