Win a family holiday in Ireland

In The Tale of City Sue, included free with Guardian Weekend on May 23, a crotchety cow named City Sue visits her country cousins and gradually discovers the joys of roaming Ireland’s lush, green fields – and living the blessed life of a Kerrygold cow.

Kerrygold, the delicious-tasting butter, has teamed up with the Guardian to offer one lucky family the chance to embark on a similarly life-changing journey.

The prize includes return flights for two adults and two children to Cork or Shannon in Ireland, with return private transfers to beautiful Ballyhoura Forest in Co. Limerick, where you will spend three nights at Ballyhoura Forest Luxury Homes.

Life seems to move at a less hectic pace in Ireland, and in the heart of Ballyhoura Forest, set in the picturesque Ballyhoura Mountains, it seems almost to stand still. It will be a time for you and your family to rest, regroup and reconnect, far from the stresses of life. Your self-contained, eco-friendly home will have its own kitchen, living room and dining area, as well as three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is even a children’s playground just outside.

You will also have plenty of opportunity to take part in local activities. Cycle along the spectacular, purpose-built network of the Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trails, the largest mountain biking area of its kind in western Europe; walk along marked trails or on the Ballyhoura Way; go fishing in the local rivers or Lough Gur; birdwatching in the woods and fields, or horse riding at the Hillcrest Equestrian Centre in Galbally. The more adventurous will also find quad biking, kayaking and abseiling nearby.

For your chance to win, simply answer the question and enter your details in the form below.
