Jodie Foster, Davina McCall, Kemi Badenoch and Hannah Waddingham are just some of the celebrities gracing the Royal Box on Day 13 of Wimbledon.

The stars will join past champions to view the Ladies’ Singles Final on Saturday, July 11, as well as The Princess of Wales herself who will be at the forefront of the Royal Box.

The spectators will be drawn into this year’s climactic showdown between rival Czech players Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova.

Temperatures on Centre Court remain hot but are more bearable than yesterday’s heatwave, with a peak of around 28C expected to linger throughout this afternoon, according to the Met Office

Foster was one of the first celebrities to arrive, joined by her wife Alexandra Hedison. The Oscar-winning actress wore a pale blue shirt and comfortable white linen trousers, as she intently watched players on Central Court through a pair of retro, white-framed sunglasses.

Davina McCall appeared in a green knit button-down midi dress with a fitted top and flared skirt, matched with black pumps, as she arrived at Wimbledon alongside her husband, celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas, who she married last December.

McCall appeared to be in lively spirits as shared a humorous exchange with her friend the actress Hannah Waddingham in the box, who wore a crisp white suit.

Muchova scraped to today’s grand finale after a tense semi-final against US player Coco Gauff on Thursday, in which the American lost a decisive match point during a tie-break.

Muchova later said: “During that tie-break, it was kind of a roller coaster as well emotionally for me. One point I felt good, I hit a nice winner, and then I did a terrible mistake.

“In my head I was just ‘I have to keep hitting’. I was telling myself if I’m going to lose this, I want to lose on my own terms.”

Elsewhere on Thursday, Noskova defeated Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-4 to reach today’s final against her fellow countrywoman.

The Princess of Wales, 44, will present the trophy to today’s winner, assisted by All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton.
