Wimbledon prize money 2022: How much do winners get for each round?

Wimbledon is one of the biggest sporting events of the year and the third Grand Slam of the year.

It’s one of the most important events for tennis fans and players alike, with some serious heavy-hitters battling it out in the annual tournament.

Overall, there is £40.35 million worth of prize money to play for, spread out over four rounds, the semi-finals and the champion winners.

Andy Murray is back in the game after missing the French Open to prepare for the tournament on home soil.

The former world number one will be joined by the likes of Emma Raducanu, Jannik Sinner, Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams.
