Wimbledon 2026: Naomi Osaka dazzles Centre Court in Kimono-inspired walk-on dress

Naomi Osaka has done it again at Wimbledon, but this time, Centre Court was her catwalk.

The Japanese 14th seed has wowed the All England Club in the first week of the Championships with her Japanese-inspired walk-on outfits.

She has brought out a different variation for all of her matches so far, and that continued when she walked out onto the main show court to face world No1 Aryna Sabalenka in a mouth-watering last 16 encounter in the women’s singles.

Osaka, 28, was greeted with whoops from the British faithful as she stepped onto court wearing what appeared to be a flowing white gown with Japanese detailing.

The gown itself was split into two parts, with drapes either side and a long, layered dress over her legs.

In reaching the fourth round, she has beaten Elsa Jacquemot in the first round, Anastasia Gasanova in the second, and Daria Kasatkina in the third.

Each time, a different court has seen her outfits as she eventually made her first appearance on Centre of the 2026 Championships.

She played Jacquemot on Court No3, Gasanova on Court No2, and Kasatkina on Court No1 before taking on Sabalenka, the four-time Grand Slam champion, on the biggest stage of all.

Osaka herself has won four major titles, with all of them coming in the hard courts.

She triumphed twice at the Australian Open, winning the crown at Melbourne Park in 2019 and 2021, and she also lifted the US Open trophy twice, emerging victorious in 2018 and 2020 at Flushing Meadows.
