Wimbledon 2019: Tess Daly and Vernon Kay hit the Royal Box for third day of tennis championships

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay were among the stars in the Royal Box on the third day of Wimbledon.

The married couple held hands as they arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club earlier today and headed to Centre Court in anticipation of Novak Djokovic’s clash with Us player Denis Kudla.

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Daly wore a blush lace dress with ruched detailing at the neckline and carried a smart Aspinal of London bag in white leather, paired with matching heels.

Her husband looked dapper in a blue suit and tie and classic black sunglasses.

The pair looked animated as they chatted with former Great British Bake Off host Mary Berry before taking their seats alongside Hunger Games star Sam Claflin.

The actor told Press Association that he was at Wimbledon to watch “number one, Mr DJ, Mr Djokovic” play.

“I love the experience, the atmosphere of being here and witnessing it first hand,” he added.

He said he was “excited” for Andy Murray’s comeback and suggested that the tennis star has “got a lot ahead of him still.”

Expressing shock at the news that Murray will pair up with Serena Williams in the mixed doubles competition, he described the partnership as “a powerhouse.”

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton were also in attendance in the Royal Box on the third day of the tennis tournament, as well as former England rugby captain Matt Dawson.

Meanwhile former Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson attended the evian Live Young suite, posing with oversized props before heading to the stands.
