Wimbledon 2019: Andy Murray could face brother Jamie in third round doubles alongside Pierre-Hugues Herbert

Andy Murray will begin his Wimbledon doubles campaign alongside Pierre-Hugues Herbert against Romania's Marius Copil and Ugo Humbert of France.

Should they get past that first test, a potential third round meeting against brother Jamie and his partner Neal Skupski looms large.

Nikola Mektic and Franko Skugor await Murray and Herbert in the second round. Jamie Murray and Skupski meanwhile open against Ivan Dodig and Filio Polasek.

Murray is limiting himself to doubles action at SW19 following his return from hip surgery, teaming up with Frenchman Herbert for the competition.

Herbert is an accomplished and experienced doubles player, claiming a coveted career Grand Slam earlier this year after adding the Australian Open crown to his previous French Open, Wimbledon and US Open triumphs alongside compatriot Nicolas Mahut.

Murray teamed up with Feliciano Lopez to win the doubles title at Queen's last week.

The former world no.1 had been mulling over the possibility of also competing in mixed doubles but may revise those plans due to his increased work load.
