Today marks the start of Wimbledon, and we want you to share your pictures and experiences from the tournament. This year, the organisers of Wimbledon will be featuring user content from Twitter on its big screens which means you can get more involved in the action.

So, whether you're sharing the content of your picnic baskets (which will obviously contain strawberries and cream), revealing which celebrities you've spotted, or what your favourite memory is from previous tournaments, share your images and stories with us. We will feature the best in our live blog and in a gallery at the end of the tournament.

You can contribute photos, videos or text by clicking on one of the blue 'Contribute' buttons on this article of using the new Guardian app for smart phones (just search for GuardianWitness assignments.)

  • GuardianWitness is the home of user-generated content on the Guardian. Contribute your video, pictures and stories, and browse news, reviews and creations submitted by others. Posts will be reviewed prior to publication on GuardianWitness, and the best pieces will feature on the Guardian site.
