Willie Mullins-trained Cheltenham Festival winner sold for €200,000

Cheltenham Festival winner Concertista was sold for €200,000 at Goffs' December National Hunt Sale on Thursday.

Previously trained by Willie Mullins for owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, the eight-year-old won the 2020 Mares' Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival at odds of 9/2 a year after finishing second in the same race at 66/1. She also finished runner-up in the Mares' Hurdle at the 2021 meeting.

Concertista was retired at the end of last season and was last seen pulling up behind Klassical Dream in the Champions Stayers' Hurdle at Punchestown.
