Willie Collum to referee Celtic v Hearts in the Scottish Cup Final

Willie Collum has been named the referee for the Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Hearts.

Collum has already taken charge of matches involving both clubs this season, having reffed Hearts' fourth round win over Livingston and Celtic's win in the sixth round over Hibs.

This will be his fourth Scottish Cup match of the season - and he showed a red in the one other he's already reffed between St Mirren and Dundee United.

Calum Butcher was given his marching orders just after the hour.

Collum also took charge of the League Cup semi-final between Celtic and Hearts in October at Murrayfield and this will be his second Scottish Cup showpiece, having previously took charge of the 2015 Final between Inverness Caley Thistle and Falkirk.

He will be assisted at Hampden Park by Alan Mulvanny and Ralph Gordon, with Don Robertson named as fourth official duties.

Kevin Clancy and Bobby Madden have been named as additional assistant referees when the Jambos and the Hoops contest the final silverware of the season on May 25.

The 16 players Celtic could be left with ahead of the Champions League qualifiers
