Arsenal face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
It's a game which has historically set the pulses racing after the two teams built up an intense rivalry under Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson which was transmitted to the players on the pitch.
The match may no longer have the same meaning but Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is fully aware of the ultra-competitive nature of these games, even though both sides title credentials have fallen away in recent years.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side sit 15th in the table after their first five Premier League games, but have contrasting European form following impressive victories over Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig.
"They create really good relationships and they are all very different," said Arteta.
"They glide together, they have some really good understanding and chemistry on the pitch. You can see that.
"I think that since the lockdown, Ole has managed to improve that a lot and you can see that at the end of the season, the amount of goals and types of goals they were scoring. They are a threat.
"They can play two or three different formations. We know that they've been changing some things because of the opponents sometimes, because of the quality of the players they have, and sometimes to change the game in certain moments.
"We have to be prepared for that because they have that adaptability, they have a big squad and up front they have a lot of options as well to do different things."
Arteta will make a number of changes for the trip to Old Trafford with only two days rest after the Europa League win over Dundalk on Thursday.
Bernd Leno will return behind the sticks, while Hector Bellerin, Gabriel and Kieran Tierney are also certainties to start. Arteta could be tempted to start Shkodran Mustafi in defence, while Thomas Partey and Willian are likely to feature after not being involved against Dundalk.
In attack, Bukayo Saka will almost certainly start and Arteta faces a decision over whether to play Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang centrally or continue with Alexandre Lacazette up top.
Predicted Arsenal XI: Leno; Bellerin, Gabriel, Mustafi, Tierney, Xhaka, Partey, Willian, Saka, Aubameyang, Lacazette.
