Willian's agent Kia Joorabchian speaks out on his Arsenal connection amid transfer links

Kia Joorabchian insists that him being an Arsenal fan has no effect on his role as an agent as the Gunners continue to be linked with Chelsea's Willian, who is one of his clients.

The Gunners are one of several clubs reportedly interested in signing Willian, who is out of contract at Chelsea this summer and is yet to sign a new deal with the Blues.

The 31-year-old has also been attracting attention from Barcelona and Tottenham, among others, but Joorabchian insists that no talks have been held with other clubs amid the suspension of professional football due to the coronavirus pandemic, with another of his clients, Philippe Coutinho, alos being strongly linked with a move this summer.

And Joorabchian has also spoken about being an Arsenal fan, having been pictured at the Emirates Stadium alongside several members of the club's hierarchy during the Gunners' recent 1-0 win over West Ham.

Will Arsenal overhaul their defence?

However, he has said that being a Gunners supporter will not impact any decisions over transfer business involving his clients.

"The fact I'm an Arsenal supporter is not a secret," Joorabchian told Sky Sports News.

"I don't have any preference where the players go. I don't try to push someone to one club or another. Everything is a possibility."
