There will be an obvious temptation to stick to the XI that won so impressively against Tottenham on Saturday lunchtime but Lampard must also beware what happened when he stuck with a three-man defence away to Arsenal following that first win over Spurs.
Bayern's high line also means pace will likely hold the key going forward and Willian offers more than Ross Barkley, who did well on Saturday, in that regard. The Brazilian needs to be on it to capitalise on the space behind the Bavarians' attacking left back Alphonso Davies.
Tammy Abraham should start if fit enough but if not Olivier Giroud must continue instead of Michy Batshuayi.
