William teases George by waving flag in his face - and Charlotte isn't amused

The Coronation has given the Wales family an opportunity to showcase their close bond to the nation - and many sweet and amusing clips have captured their friendship.

One of which was the amusing moment Prince William decided to tickle Prince George's nose with his Union Jack flag and wind up his daughter, Princess Charlotte.

As the Coronation Concert closed last night on Take That's final song, Never Forget, William and Kate were seen waving their flags, smiling and clapping with their kids.

Then in a split second, eagle-eyed viewers saw William larking about with his nine-year-old son and jokingly whacking him in the face with his flag.

George took the joke and shut his eyes while William grinned at himself, and then made a beeline for his daughter too.

But the Princess saw it coming and swerved her dad's flag, leaning towards her mum to get away.

The antics were shared on social media, with one TikToker coining it their 'favourite bit' of the Coronation Concert and another saying: "But did anyone else spot this?"

The humorous footage was a reminder of cheeky five-year-old Prince Louis, who didn't attend the late night show but entertained viewers all weekend.

Earlier in the evening, Charlotte proved just how proud she was of her dad when he took to the stage to pay tribute to the newly-crowned King Charles.

The Prince began his speech with a dad joke, referencing headliner Lionel Richie and promising not to "go on all night long", before sharing his praise to his own father.

When her dad appeared on stage, eight-year-old Charlotte perked up immediately, looking excited and gesturing to her brother to look, pointing over to the stage.

George, amusingly, didn't look quite as impressed to see his dad up there.

Their mum, Kate, also was 'shining' throughout and fans loved how 'proud' she looked as her husband took to the stage for his speech.

She was spotted laughing at his cheeky joke and beaming at him from the Royal box.

It was a star-studded line up for the celebratory gig at Windsor Castle, with the likes of Katy Perry, Take That, Lionel Richie and Andrea Bocelli taking to the stage.

Despite the likes of Kylie Minogue, Adele and Harry Styles reportedly turning down the chance to belt out a tune for the newly crowned King and Queen, Lionel Richie and more ensured Charles and around 20,000 members of the public still got to enjoy an evening of live music.
