William Saliba and the three players tipped to join Arsenal in summer transfer window

It's been a quiet start to the transfer window for Arsenal so far this summer.

Despite the club's fans desperate for their side to add some much-needed reinforcements, Unai Emery has so far been left to work with what he has.

But things now appear to be changing, as leading bookmaker Ladbrokes have suspended betting on William Saliba signing for the Gunners this summer, as well as making three other players odds on to sign for Emery's side before the start of the season.

William Saliba

Saliba has been continually linked with the Gunners so far this summer, and it now appears that boss Emery has landed his man.

Reports emerged over the weekend that the Gunners have agreed to pay around £28million for the services of the centre-back, but as part of the agreement, the 18-year-old will be loaned back to his current club Saint-Etienne for the upcoming season.

Spurs had also been in the hunt for Saliba’s signature, but according to reports, the France Under-20 international is expected to undergo a medical at the north London club in the coming days.

Kieran Tierney

Having already saw two bids turned down for the Celtic star, the Gunners are now reportedly set to make a third in a bid to land their man.

Tierney has been continually linked with a move to the Gunners since the conclusion of the Premier League season, and the bookies now appear to believe the move will happen.

Priced at 1/4 on to join Emery's side in time for their Premier League opener against Newcastle United, betting isn't far from being suspended, but with just more than two weeks remaining in the transfer window, the Gunners are going to need to speed up their efforts.

Everton Soares

After a week of continued speculation around the globe linking Soares with a move to Arsenal, it is perhaps no surprise to see his odds take a tumble.

Now priced at 1/8 to join the Gunners, the Brazilian could be the player to answer Arsenal's prayers.

The 23-year-old winger has had an incredible 12 months for both club and country, and just last month played a key role in his side's Copa America triumph.

And his recent social media activity also seems to be dropping clues in regards to his next move.

Taking to Instagram, Everton was spotted to have followed new Arsenal signing, Gabriel Martinelli - while a clip of him learning English also appeared on Twitter.

Dani Ceballos

Another star who has continually saw his odds tumble on the prospect of joining Arsenal is Dani Ceballos.

The Real Madrid man is now 1/10 on to join the Gunners before the transfer window shuts, with Emery having reportedly told Arsenal chiefs to use this week’s friendly against Madrid to close a deal for the 22-year-old.

Spurs have also been linked with a move for the midfielder, but these latest odds perhaps suggest that the Gunners have stolen a march on their arch-rivals.
