Prince William is “livid” at Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview which could be the “final nail” in the brothers’ relationship, reports say.
The royal family is braced for the eagerly-anticipated interview on Sunday night, which could be “very damaging”, according to Vanity Fair.
Harry has reportedly called the Queen ahead of the interview and been in touch with his father via email, the magazine reports.
“I know he has spoken to the Queen and he has been in regular email contact with his father,” an insider told Vanity Fair.

“Depending on what he and Meghan say, this could be very damaging for family relations and possibly the nail in the coffin for his relationship with William, who is beyond livid over the interview.”
Meghan is set to tell Oprah about the constraints and frustration she felt while still a royal.
“As an adult who lived a really independent life to then go into this construct that is different than I think what people imagine it to be,” she explains in the interview.
“It’s really liberating to be able to have the right and privilege in some way to be able to say yes—to be able to just make a choice on your own and be able to speak for yourself.”
Buckingham Palace has not officially commented on the interview, with aides saying they are more focussed on the health of Prince Philip.
“We do not want to get involved in a media circus when there is so much else going on,” a senior aide toldVanity Fair.
But Meghan also accuses “The Firm” of “perpetuating falsehoods about us” and saying that she feels “liberated” since she and Harry left the United Kingdom for Santa Barbara.
In the days before the interviews airs on CBS in the United States, Meghan has been accused of bullying her Kensington Palace staff and Buckingham Palace has launched an investigation.
The Queen will reportedly not watch the interview, but will be briefed by aides on its content on Monday morning.
