A man has been charged in connection with the death of William Leiper, Police Scotland confirmed.
The 31-year-old's remains were found in Househill Park in the Pollok area of Glasgow at around 7.35am on Wednesday, August 4.
The 40-year-old was arrested yesterday. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 16 August, 2021.
A major police investigation into the incident has been gathering pace, with detectives appealing to the public for information.
A police statement said: "Enquires are continuing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information who has not already spoken to officers is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0562 of Wednesday, 4 August, 2021.
