William 'deeply upset and feels let down by Harry and Meghan', claims friend

Prince William is still deeply hurt over the falling out with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a friend has revealed.

The future King feels let down after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior royals and moved to America, a betrayal that still feels raw for William, according to reports.

The couples dramatic exit from the Royal Family was made worse after Harry and Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey where they made a series of explosive allegations against the family.

A friend of William told The Times: "He’s still deeply upset about it and feels let down, but he’s moved on."

Reports suggest that the once close brothers will not be patching up their relationship any time soon.

Harry and William were not pictured together during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations - and royal experts believe the brothers' feud is still ongoing, writes the Mirror.

They were both at Trooping the Colour although William and wife Kate were not spotted with Harry and Meghan.

Daniela Elser, an Australian expert on the Windors, told the Daily Star: "It’s nearly a year since we last saw William and Harry together, and in that time the situation seems to have only deteriorated further.

"Five metres. By my best estimate the closest that Prince William and Prince Harry came to one another throughout the entirety of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last week was around about five metres.

"With their expressions entirely neutral, the Royal party passed the second row, completely ignoring Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who returned the frosty favour.

"There was not a nod or a discreet tilt of the head or any single discernible gesture of acknowledgment from either side. Now one thing has become clear – the rift between the brothers has entered a rotten new phase.

"What has come into clear focus is that this is not temporary iciness that a few conciliatory words and a brusque hug might fix. It is a state of deep permafrost with no end in sight."

Reports also claim the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to leave their Kensington Palace behind with a move to Berkshire in the offing.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly all set to move to a house on the Queen's Windsor estate this summer.

The move will see the couple leave Kensington Palace, which has been their main residency since 2017 following time at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

It is reported that the royals are set to take their son Prince George, 8, and daughter Princess Charlotte, 7, out of their current school in Battersea at the culmination of this school year.

They will then join their younger brother, Prince Louis, 4, at a new school in September.
