Just as sure as time marches on every day, there's new music to be made and new gigs to be played.
Hunter Valley-based roots and rock muso William Crighton has kept the wheels turning through the pandemic, releasing singles (Your Country, This is Magic, both with videos), hosting campfire sessions in his backyard and hitting the road for Australian shows as often as possible.
On the weekend, he released a video, Good World (After All), an original song based on the lyrics of a poem, After All, by Henry Lawson.
Shot by Aaron Lyon at Jim Moginie's Oceanic Studio in Brookvale, and recorded by Blaine Cunneen, it features Crighton on vocals while playing the piano. It's emotional, and riveting, like his best work.

Crighton's pretty much got all the songs for a new album under his belt, and is waiting for a final mix and contemplating timing for it at this point. There's a good chance it will drop this year.
In September, life will slow down for the birth of his third child with wife, Julieanne.
