- The Prince and Princess of Wales have revealed the name of their second family dog, a chocolate cocker spaniel named Otto, on his first birthday.
- Otto is one of four puppies born to the family’s older dog, Orla, who joined the royal household in 2020 after the unexpected death of their first dog, Lupo.
- Kensington Palace shared a picture on X with the caption: “Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today.”
- The Princess of Wales had previously confirmed in February that they had a new puppy, saying that he was eight months old at the time.
- Otto and his siblings were featured in Prince William’s 43rd birthday photo last June and he also appeared with Orla in a recent family holiday snapshot for the couple's 15th wedding anniversary.
