Will Zalatoris missed a tap-in putt in wild fashion at the British Open and golf fans couldn’t believe it

The 2021 British Open is underway at Royal St. George’s and if you’re like me you’re hunkered down on your couch watching and will be in that position for many hours to come over the next four days.

So far we’ve seen Louis Oosthuizen go off again at a major and claim an early lead with a 6-under, 64 in his first round.

Jordan Spieth is also near the top with a 5-under 65.

It’s been a fun morning of golf so far, well, except for this short putt by Will Zalatoris. He’s been known to struggle a little bit with his putter and he struggled a lot of bit on this little tap in on the 17th hole.

Watch closely as his putter almost misses the ball:

YIKES.
