Will you be going on a holiday in 2022?

After the Covid pandemic saw travel grind to a halt around the world, holidays are back on the cards for 2022. Travel rules to protect people against coronavirus will come to an end across the UK on Friday, March 18.

It has been confirmed that the UK Government will remove all remaining border measures, including getting rid of the passenger location form and testing requirements. UK Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said on Monday that the changes, which also include the requirement for unvaccinated people to be tested for Covid-19 before entering the UK, will “mean greater freedom in time for Easter”.

The rules will also be scrapped in Wales, despite health and social services minister Eluned Morgan's criticism of the decision. Will you book a holiday in the UK or abroad this year? Let us know in our survey below:
