Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) was active for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs, but he didn’t last longer than the first quarter after appearing to re-injure it.
The Vikings offense struggled without Thielen. There’s not much depth at receiver for the Vikings after Thielen and Stefon Diggs. That makes life harder for everyone on the offensive side of the ball.
Minnesota lost 26-23 to Kansas City and fell to 6-3 on the season.
The question now for the Vikings offense will be if Thielen will be ready for next week’s game against the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday Night Football.
Obviously Minnesota would love to have him, but we’ll see if the injury is worse now than it was previously.
We’ll know more throughout the week. The team’s first official practice will be on Wednesday.
