Royal Mail has confirmed there will be no collections or deliveries during Good Friday (April 10) or Easter Monday (April 13).
As usual on Sundays, there also won't be any letters or parcels arriving on Easter Sunday (April 12).
However, Birmingham Live reports there will be a normal postal service on Saturday, April 11.
Royal Mail said: "We deliver and collect mail on most days of the year, including Saturdays.
"However, we don’t usually deliver or collect on bank and public holidays."
To protect the health and safety of its staff and the general public, from Monday, April 6, Royal Mail changed the opening times of its Customer Services Points in its local delivery offices.
All its locations will be open between 7am and 11am.
All other Customer Service Points will be open between 7am to 9am.
All will be closed on Wednesday and Sunday.
To support the Government’s advice to stay at home and avoid non-essential journeys, it is urging customers to only visit Customer Service Points where absolutely necessary.

To give the customer longer to collect or have the item redelivered, it's temporarily extending the retention period to 30 days before items are returned to sender.
This applies to items where a Something for You card has been left, as well as those with a surcharge or customs charge and Local Collect items where the parcel is addressed to the Customer Service Point.
It has also reviewed its timed guarantees for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am and 1pm services.
Guaranteed delivery for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am the next working day will change to by 12pm the next working day.
Guaranteed delivery for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm will change to by 9pm the next working day.
Royal Mail said in a statement: "Public health authorities have advised people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting coronavirus.
From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels. This complements the highly publicised guidance from public health authorities for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water."
Post Office branches are expected to be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday too, though those located within convenience stores might still be open if the store itself is also open on that day.
Check with your local store to see if its postal counter is also going to be open to take your letters and parcels on those days.
Those that are usually open on Saturdays will be trading on Saturday April 11.
