Popular streaming service Netflix has recently released the third season of the highly anticipated crime drama mystery, The Sinner.
Each season refreshes with a brand new case and a new mystery to be uncovered by Detective Harry Ambrose.
The tense drama follows Ambrose as he delves deep into the minds of those who have committed a brutal crime to discover what has caused them to do so.
After binge watching the third season, fans already want to know when the Golden Globe nominated series will be back for another instalment.
Will there be a season 4?
Earlier this month USA Network announced that they had renewed the popular show for a fourth season.

There has been no official release date so far, but fans can probably expect to see the series on Netflix some time in 2021.
With current restrictions in the film and TV industry due to the pandemic, it is unlikely that filming will begin anytime soon.
The series so far
The first season introduces us to Detective Ambrose (Bill Pullman) who remains the only consistent character throughout the series.
He is tasked with discovering why a troubled woman (Jessica Biel) impulsively stabs a man to death.
The next season of the anthology series introduces a new storyline that is just as tense and dramatic as the first. Ambrose must uncover the mystery surrounding a young boy who commits double murder.
The most recent instalment of the series, starring Matt Bomer, sees the detective work to uncover a darker mystery behind a fatal car crash.
All seasons are underpinned by a dark, twisted mystery that is slowly uncovered over the eight episodes.
What can we expect next?
We can expect to see Bill Pullman reprise his role as Detective Ambrose, as the only main character in the series.
As each season refreshes with a new story and new cast, we can expect to see a whole new cast again in season 4.
A statement on the renewal read: “In Season 4, we're excited to dig even deeper into the psyche of Bill Pullman's beloved Detective Ambrose character, while introducing our audience to a compelling, completely new mystery."
