Industry insider Daniel Richtman (via World of Reel) is the source of the rumour. However, it is yet to be confirmed by the company.
If the rumour is accurate, it claims the project is still in its early phases and no further names have been attached.
Thanks in part to Ryan Gosling's dryly humorous interview statements regarding his character's Ken-ergy, his portrayal of Ken has emerged as a scene stealer in the lead-up campaign to the film.

The movie based on the Mattel doll is anticipated to gross up to $80 million (£62 million) in its first three days, according to Warner Bros.
