Will the Week 2 Saints-Rams game be broadcast in your area?

Week 2 of the NFL’s regular season schedule is headlined by a game between two Super Bowl-contending juggernauts, with the New Orleans Saints making a trip out to the West Coast for a game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The broadcast map from 506 Sports embedded below lays out which markets will be receiving the televised game, which will be shown on FOX at 3:25 p.m. CT. Areas in red will receive coverage of the game, while those in blue will be watching when the Chicago Bears visit the Denver Broncos. FOX has put their top broadcast team in for the game in Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

L.A. and New Orleans are both 1-0, with the Rams having fended off a comeback effort by the Carolina Panthers to leave Charlotte with a 30-27 win. The Saints were successful in their own come-from-behind bid, with kicker Wil Lutz setting a new career-long field goal strike from 58 yards out as time expired, giving the Saints a 30-28 victory.

Recent history suggests both teams are evenly-matched. They’ve played each other four times in the last three seasons, splitting the series evenly, with the last meeting ending in controversy. Officials failed to call foul on either a helmet-to-helmet hit or flagrant defensive pass interference penalty against Rams cornerback Nickell Roby-Coleman, prompting offseason rules changes to prevent more in-game mistakes. The Rams advanced to Super bowl LIII and squandered the opportunity, losing 13-3 to the New England Patriots.

The Rams are very slight home favorites in this one; in other words, oddsmakers wouldn’t know who to favor on a neutral field. The way things stand right now, it seems it could go either way.
