Will Smith reflects on starring in ‘Bad Boys’ with Martin Lawrence in 1995 on ‘The Shop’

The latest episode of HBO and UNINTERRUPTED’s ‘The Shop,’ may be the most star-studded version of the show ever as some of the biggest stars in entertainment join LeBron James and Maverick Carter in a new episode that is set to premiere on Saturday night.

Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, C.C. Sabathia, and Chance The Rapper will join LeBron, Carter and the show’s co-creator Paul Rivera on Saturday night’s episode. HBO released a trailer of what viewers will be able to see on Saturday night at 10 p.m. EST on all of HBO’s platforms. In the trailer, Will Smith reflected on what it was like starring in “Bad Boys” with Martin Lawrence, a movie with two black lead actors, back in 1995.

The timing of getting Smith and Lawrence together was not accidental. The third installment of the “Bad Boys” franchise, “Bad Boys 3,” is set to come out in theaters on Jan. 20, 2020. Smith also reflects on parenting his children, who also have had major entertainment careers.

The last episode of ‘The Shop’ featured California governor Gavin Newsom signing a bill into law that allowed amateur athletes to be able to profit off of their own likeness.
