Will Smith launches Fresh Prince of Bel Air-inspired clothing collection

In West Philadelphia born and raised…

We knew the theme tune off by heart, we lolled at the corny gags… and now we too can dress like a student of the high school in Bel-Air.

After teasing a special 'clothing drop' on Ellen a few weeks back, Will Smith has revealed that he's launching a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air clothing line.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal his first foray into fashion, the 50-year-old actor and rapper said: “I put my thang down, flipped it and reversed it. Then I put it on sale.”

Inspired by the hit US TV show that Smith starred in for nearly six years, the Bel-Air Athletics line features track pants, shorts, hoodies, tees and other sports-related merch. There are also kids' tees and hoodies printed with Fresh Prince cartoons.

The star of the show is the fully reversible Academy Track Jacket, inspired by Will’s character’s school uniform blazer which he wore inside-out on the show. With the Bel Air Academy logo printed on the chest and a red paisley print lining, this is by far the most wearable item in the collection.

Prices start at £14 for socks and go up to £88 for the track jacket. There’s a gym kit bag for £185, but it’s already sold out on the site

The Bel Air Athletics collection will, according to the Bel Air Instagram bio, only be available until October 14, so best act quick if you want to get your hands on some merch.
