Will quit saffron party if BJP-JJP alliance continues in Haryana: Former mimister Birender Singh

JIND: Former Union minister and BJP leader Birender Singh made it plain that he will quit saffron party if BJP-JJP alliance continues in Haryana.

The bangar leader made this announcement during a rally named "meri awaz suno" held on October 2 at eklavya stadium of Jind City on Monday. During the rally, mainly Hisar BJP MP Brijendra Singh, his mother and former BJP MLA Prem Lata and his son Samarveer Singh were present.

BJP's tall leader Birender Singh, who is known as tragedy king of Haryana politics was seen attacking on party over farmer issues indirectly but showed soft corner for Congress saying that "I didn't make any objectionable comments on Rajiv Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi and they too offered me full respect. I am the only leader in Haryana who had got huge respect in Congress".

Speaking on the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), a Central sector Scheme, which aims to provide financial assistance to all cultivable landholding farmer families across the country, an amount of Rs. 6,000 which is transferred annually in three equal installments, Singh said it's not a gratitude on farmers. If the government is seeking betterment of farmers than income should be increased.

"I am always outspoken about things which come into my mind and want to say that I will step down from BJP if they forge into alliance again with Jannayak janta party (JJP) in the upcoming polls. JJP has deceived to BJP at a level which was not done by anyone so far. Similarly, JJP has back stabbed people as well. JJP has committed a ever biggest deception in Haryana politics. BJP should not be in misconceptions that JJP may help to get votes in elections as this party itself is not going to get votes let aside to extend support to others," he said.

Making a scathing attack on JJP, he said this party is involved in corruption at a high level in state. It is pertinent to mention that Birender Singh’s family and Chautala family have locked in tussle over Uchana Kalan segment since deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala defeated Prem Lata by a sizeable margin of around 48,000 in 2019 assembly election. It was seen multiple times that family members of Birender Singh have been advising BJP to break to alliance with JJP accusing for corruption charges and ill will intention of Chautala family.

Talking to TOI, Hisar BJP MP Brijendra Singh, son of Birender Singh, said I will obey all the decisions which would be taken my fathers. There is no if and but in the decision made by my father. I will go with his decisions," he added. Prem Lata too endorsed the statement of his son Brijendra Singh.
