Will Poulter was left emotional during an appearance on The One Show this evening (September 2). The actor had been talking about his role with Anti-Bullying Pro, which aims to teach school children about bullying and what they can do to prevent it.
Will, who has recently landed a dream role in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, told presenters Alex Scott and Jermaine Jenas that during his own school days, he was "relatively lucky" to avoid any serious bullying but had witnessed it. "I did thankfully have a teacher who was very active in the space," he admitted.
After explaining more about Anti-Bullying Pro and its plan to recruit 10,000 anti-bullying ambassadors, host Alex Jones pulled a trick from her sleeve. She said: "We all know important good teachers can be, and you Will mentioned one in your school earlier, and because we're The One Show we tracked her down, so here's Miss Moran."

In the video message, which triggered an audible gasp from Will, his teacher Miss Moran said: "Will I know how difficult things were for you at school and I just want you to know just how unbelievably proud I was of you then and continue to be today. You're a true inspiration and will always have my active support."

She ended by saying, "Thanks for being you." Back in the studio, Will covered his face with his hands in shock.
Rochelle Humes, who was sitting next to the star, rushed to offer a comforting pat on the shoulder. "That's got me all choked up," she laughed.
Dabbing his eyes slightly, Will thanked the show, "Wow that's amazing. I didn't expect that, she's amazing, thank you"., he gushed.
Audiences at home were just as moved by the emotional message. One said: "That was so lovely, I had tears in my eyes. Bless Will he's a lovely man."
Another said: "Please someone give @PoulterWill a BIG HUG! What a delightful boy so passionate about his #bullying campaign!"
