Will Piers Morgan QUIT Good Morning Britain? Host claims he'll go abroad 'if the money's good enough'

Piers Morgan suggested that he could quit Good Morning Britain in January “if the money’s good enough.”

The controversial presenter joked about his career options on this morning’s edition of the ITV breakfast show as he discussed his impending four year work anniversary with co-host Susanna Reid.

“So I worked with Amanda [Holden] for four years on Britain’s Got Talent, I haven’t quite done four years with you,” he said, adding: “So Amanda’s actually put more yards in than you have.”

Reid responded by reminding Morgan that “November is our four year anniversary, isn’t it?” before quizzing him on his future plans, asking: “Do you think you’ll be here in November?”

“I’ll be here in November - January? Hmm,” he replied, prompting his colleague to question whether he is “renegotiating [his] dressing room again.”

Morgan hit back by speculating that he “might get transferred” to another country “for mega bucks.”

“Good Morning Australia, Good Morning Germany, Good Morning Shanghai. If the money’s good enough, I’m…” he continued, before making a gesture like a plane taking off.

Later in the show, Morgan promised that he would show “great respect” to Tyson Fury and his brother, Love Island star Tommy, while interviewing the boxer, despite having previously described him as a “half wit” and referred to the show’s contestants as “moronic.”

Fury went on to tell Morgan and Reid that he chooses to avoid Love Island because he is “usually quite jealous of how they all look.”

“Me being a fat man and they’re all ripped, it’s not something I want to watch. It makes me feel bad about myself.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
