Will Mellor left screaming at daughter as he enjoys Christmas outing with family after intense BBC Strictly Come Dancing stint

Will Mellor was left screaming at his daughter as she tricked him during a Christmas night out. The actor has been enjoying time with his family after finishing up his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

Stockport-born Will missed out on a place in the final of the BBC One dance competition, becoming the eleventh celebrity to leave the show during the quarter-finals. But the Two Pints of Lager and Coronation Street star did make a comeback over the weekend.

He was reunited with his dance partner Nancy Xu and the other couples who took part in the 2022 run of the hit TV show as they performed a celebratory routine during Saturday night's final. It came as Hamza Yassin, Helen Skelton, Fleur East, and Molly Rainford waited to find out their fate after performing three times to impress the viewers.

But with the sparkles put away for another year - or at least until the new year when Will will hit the road with some of his co-stars on the Strictly Live tour - the 46-year-old has been enjoying a much-deserved, and probably much-needed, break with his wife Michelle and their two children, son Jayden and daughter Renee.

And getting in the festive mood, the family of four headed out to the Christmas in the Park event in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Will shared a series of snaps to his Instagram page enjoying various parts of the dazzling light trail experience and festive celebration.

But Renee appeared to put fear into her dad as they took a ride on a Ferris wheel. "We're on the Ferris wheel and it's stopped," the terrified former soap star said as he was seen in the air, in the dark alongside his daughter.

He then panned the camera down to show just how high up they were with the ride not moving an inch. Looking pretty scared, he turned to Renee and asked: "Is someone getting on it?" to which she replied: "No one's on there." As Renee moved forward in her seat, Will screamed: "Don't rock forward," he shouted.

"Stop rocking it! Seriously Renee, stop rocking now," he added before the video ended. Writing in the caption, Will said to his followers: "Turns out they were just letting people on the the ride and my daughter was winding me up!!" He then added: "Went to @christmasinthepark_ Marlow with the family tonight! Loved it! Making festive memories."

And fans were quick to comment. @carolehenderson6 said: "I would literally have screamed my head off...STOP ROCKING IT lol." @shirleyannpaterson commented: "Stop rocking iiittt lol so funny." @__g.axx laughed: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA that 1st video just had my crying it reminded me of the scene in 2 pints when ur petrified of sheep HAHAAHHAHAHAHA omgggg."
