The next handful of matches could be crucial for Liverpool in terms of maintaining their position and laying down a marker to City.
After the conclusion of the international break, the Reds travel to Old Trafford to take on Man United next weekend.
They then have a midweek Champions League assignment away to Genk, before hosting Spurs in the league.
