The Reds returned to Premier League action with a 2-0 win over Arsenal on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino. The win moved Liverpool one point behind leaders Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola's side were held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace on Monday night at Selhurst Park - despite dominating possession. And things are now perfectly set up for the showdown between two sides at the Etihad next month.
Liverpool face Watford in the league before their game against City on April 10. While matches against Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham and Aston Villa are still to come between now and the end of the season.
