Liverpool remain one point behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League table after their midweek round of fixtures.
The Reds completed a 4-0 win over Manchester United on Tuesday night, which temporarily moved them two points clear at the top. However, City responded 24 hours later with a 3-0 victory over Brighton to restore their one point advantage.
Jurgen Klopp's side and City both have six league fixtures left to play this season, which will determine where the Premier League trophy will end up. Next up for the Reds is a home clash against Everton at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.
For City, they take on relegation threatened Watford in the Saturday early kick-off, and could move four points clear at the top before Liverpool play their match. Then for both sides, they will play a Champions League semi-final next midweek.
