Will Levis: Mike Vrabel wants to stay with Titans

If it were up to him, Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis would keep the coaching staff the same in 2024.

While it remains to be seen if that will happen, the Titans should do their best to keep things as close to the same as possible, as consistency is key for a young quarterback, especially at offensive coordinator.

“I love everyone in this building,” Levis said, per Paul Kuharsky. “I hope it stays the same and I hope that we’re all able to grow and we’re all able to stick together. Obviously, I don’t have a say in any of those types of things, but hopefully it stays together and we’re able to keep this thing rolling.”

The big question mark is with Vrabel, who, based on rumors, may want to leave Tennessee after six seasons. Levis revealed that Vrabel said he will communicate with the team once he knows his fate. He also added that Vrabel wants to stay in Tennessee.

The Titans will have a lot to fix in 2024, but after an impressive season from Levis, it at least appears they have a long-term solution at the most important position.

Levis hopes he’s convinced the Titans that he’s the guy and he rightly thinks he “did a good job” in trying to make his case.

“I think I just, at the very least, showed that I can do it,” he said, according to Kuharsky. “My goal at the beginning of the year was to leave the building on this day with our ownership and the coaches confident that I’m our guy. Not that they’ve told me that in words, but I feel like I did a good job of putting those thoughts in their heads and I’m just looking to do whatever I can this offseason to get us started on the right foot next year.”
