Will Kirk Cousins pass for 4,200 yards in 2019?

Quarterback Kirk Cousins has eclipsed 4,200 yards passing in two of the last three seasons.

In 2018, his first with the Vikings, he threw for 4,298 yards.

The folks over at Pro Football Focus don’t think he’ll do it again.

PFF selected seven players to pass for more than 4,200 yards and Cousins wasn’t one of them.

It does make some sense. Cousins had 606 pass attempts last season, a mark that ranked fourth in the NFL.

The hope in 2019 for the Vikings is to run the ball more. With the addition of Gary Kubiak to the coaching staff, it’d be a surprise if the Vikings threw the ball as much as they did last season, thus it would be unlikely Cousins throws for as many yards.

For what it’s worth, no quarterbacks in the NFC North are on this list.
