Weather forecasters say snow is coming to the Yorkshire and the rest of the UK towards the end of November.

According to the Met Office, Yorkshire is set to see temperatures fall next week - predicting maximums of around seven degrees across the region.

And according to BBC weather - the decreasing temperatures could bring snow with them.

The BBC isn't predicting snow in Leeds currently, but temperatures are looking at dropping to around five degrees maximum by the end of November.

The BBC is forecasting snow on November 27 and 28 sporadically across York, Huddersfield and Sheffield - though it is only predicted to last a few hours.

According to the Mirror, temperatures in the Scottish Highlands could drop to as low as -12 degrees by the end of November, though this will be more like minus two to minus four degrees elsewhere.

The Met Office said snow could be 'likely' on higher ground in the north.

The Met Office website says that the outlook for November 25 to December 4 is: "Likely to be brighter to the north, with blustery showers in some coastal areas. Showers many be wintry in upland areas in the north.

"Tending to feel rather cold. As the period continues winds will be typically from the north and northwest allowing cold conditions to persist.

"High pressure is likely to sit to the south or southwest of the UK, bringing possible rain and showers to the north, wintry on high ground and perhaps at lower levels at times.

"Likely drier in the south, often largely settled with clear/sunny spells. Rather cold at times, with overnight frost likely."
