Will Ferrell brings back Ron Burgundy to call a Kings game and boy, that escalated quickly

Just because Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues came out in 2013 doesn’t mean Ron Burgundy and his jazz flute are completely out of our lives.

Will Ferrell joined the Fox Sports West booth of Alex Faust and Jim Fox, bringing back the character for the Los Angeles Kings’ game on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks. It was comedic gold as always, although there wasn’t a teleprompter around to mess him up.

Let’s look back at the night in which Burgundy and his stache made some hilarious calls, waxed poetic on a burrito and got on the Kings’ Kiss Cam to entertain everyone:

He led off the broadcast by explaining why he was late.

He talked about Baxter!

He had an idea for a goal call:

He got a burrito and a glass of milk, which was a bad choice.

He kissed the burrito on the Kiss Cam.

Sex Panther jokes were abound.
