Will Boris Johnson become the shortest serving British Prime Minister in history?

The Supreme Court has today (Tuesday) ruled that Prime Minister Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament for five weeks was unlawful.

As a result he is now facing calls from leaders of the opposition parties to resign - which would earn him a place in the history books as the shortest serving British Prime Minister ever. Here are the latest odds on Mr Johnson's future.

Mr Johnson has currently served just 63 days in office.

The current title holder is George Canning, who clocked up 118 days as PM before dying in office in 1827.

So if Mr Johnson was to resign from his office today - even within a week - he would have set a new record.

In comparison Theresa May - who is also one of the shortest serving PMs in the last century - lasted a total of 1,106 days.
