'Will be our plan' - Swansea City boss makes Nottingham Forest vow after Leeds United heartbreak

Swansea City head coach Steve Cooper has admitted that each of his side's three matches are must-wins after today's defeat to Leeds United.

The Swans travel to Notinbgham Forest's City Ground on Wednesday (5pm) hoping to get their play-off push back on track having failed to oust rivals Cardiff City in sixth place.

Pablo Hernandez struck in the last minute to seal a big win for Leeds that also helps out Forest, keeping the gap between themselves in fifth and Swansea two places below at six points.

Cooper's side are one point adrift of sixth place with Preston North End, Millwall, Derby County and Bristol City all in the hunt for that final play-off place.

And the former England Under-17s coach is targeting a win on Trentside to kick-start their final push.

"It's still very much all to play for," Cooper said.

"We'd have liked to have picked up at least a point today. The aim was to get three, it always is, but even if we'd done that, it didn't mean anything would have been decided.

"It's going to go down to probably the last game. I think a lot of things in the league will go to the last game and hopefully we're in the mix."

"We're going to try to win the rest of the games. That will be our plan. We go to Forest. We take a lot of heart from our performance.

"The dressing room is down, but motivated. I can see there's fire in the belly there because they know we deserved more from the game."

Swansea have an unwelcome injury concern for the trip to Nottingham, with goalkeeper Freddie Woodman substituted off in injury time with a hip complaint.

"Fingers crossed he's not too bad," Cooper added.
