After the super success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, sequels of many popular and hit films like, ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Welcome’ and others are being made. Joining the bandwagon is also Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s ‘Desi Boyz’.
In a recent interview with a news website, producer Anand Pandit revealed that he is working on many movies across languages. He reportedly has ‘Desi Boyz 2’, ‘The Big Bull 2’, ‘Sarkar 4’ and a remake of ‘Omkara’ in the lineup.
When asked if Akshay and John will be returning in the sequel of ‘Desi Boyz’, he said that it would depend on the script. However, he added that it might have a new cast or a mix of old and new cast. The producer also said that he wants this to be a film for the young generation.
Apart from John and Akshay, the original film also had Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay has a line-up of some very interesting films which include, ‘OMG 2’, ‘Hera Pheri 3’, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and others.
John, on the other hand, was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The film made record-breaking business at the box office.
