When it comes to beauty and skincare products many believe that the more costly an item, the better it will be.
So it's no surprise how much excitement is caused when shoppers spot dupes of their favourite products - especially if they’re significantly cheaper.
Wilko, which is not known for its designer replicas, has shoppers praising one of its products after it was shared online.
One shopper took to TikTok to point out some of Wilko’s “best beauty buys” and included the retailer’s Essences Stay 8H Waterproof Lipliner.

User @charlottehyattwillis pointed out that the lip liner is a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat liner.

Among the comments on the video, one shopper wrote: “I’ve had the Essence lip liner for years and loved it”.
Another said: “I can confirm the lip liners are the best”

Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat lip liner currently costs £17 on the Charlotte Tilbury website, while the Wilko Essence Stay 8H Waterproof Lipliner comes in at £1.80.
This means shoppers can save around £15 by opting for the Wilko version.
