The weekend is finally here, and to celebrate, Wilko has slashed the price of its famous pick and mix to half price.
For just one week only, cups of the sweets will be cut to £1 for a standard size, rather than the usuals £2 price tag, starting today.
Sadly, the offer will only last a week, ending next Thursday on the 3rd October.
As well as £1 regular cups, the new half price discount means that a medium now costs £1.50, down from £3, whilst the biggest cup of them all is now £2, rather than £4.
The offer is available in all Wilko stores that sell pick and mix, and has already caught the attention from a lot of sweet-toothed fans.
Originally spotted by deals forum HotUKDeals, one excited shopper commented saying “Oooh yay! last couple of times they've only done £1 off and such so this is better!”
Meanwhile, another canny commenter said: “Great for giving the grandkids to take to the cinema. However, you get much more if you fill two small cups as opposed to one large.”
However, that maths was not well received by other Wilko customers, who argued that you're much better off buying an extra large cup if you want to get as many sweets for your money as possible.
