Remember the glory days when Freddos were 10p a pop?
Well it seems that the good times may be making a resurgence, as Wilko has been spotted selling Cadbury Freddo bars for just 10p each.
Chocolate fans spotted the bargain store selling the 10p Freddos yesterday, and quickly shared the news with fellow users on deals forum HotUKDeals.
Wilko customer CeeBee wrote "Spotted these in the Rugby store today, but should be national as long as the store still has stock. This is the "reduced to clear" price. Can't remember the last time I saw Freddos at this price!"
Elsewhere in high street stores, exactly the same chocolate bar will set you back around the 30p mark, with Tesco selling them for 26p , or you can get a six pack of the bars for £1 , working out at 16p each.
Sadly, you can't shop the bargain Freddos online, and if you are trekking into town, do beware that whilst the deal is predicted to be taking place across the country, Wilko are yet to confirm the news, so it may still be 35p at your local.
The iconic Freddo is a nostalgic staple of the 90s, which used to set you back just ten single pennies back when it was first launched - a price that Cadburys has increased every year since 2005, much to the anger of Britons.
If you're going on a full chocolate spree like HotUKDeals user CeeBee, who picked up 17 of the bars, she also added to her post that "They're also doing the Dairy Milk "Little Bar" (18g, the same weight as a Freddo) for the same price, and Freddo Faces bags for 40p."
