Wilfried Zaha names three former Crystal Palace team-mates he would like to play alongside again

It is a landmark day for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.

The Eagles ace made his debut for Crystal Palace ten years ago today, with 17-year-old Zaha coming on as a substitute for Stern John in a 2-1 defeat against Cardiff City at Selhurst Park.

Since then, he has gone on to become a Palace icon, with Zaha the talismanic figure for the club in recent seasons as the Eagles have established themselves in the Premier League.

Zaha has played alongside many players in south London and the Eagles ace has picked out three former Crystal Palace stars he would love to bring back to the club, if possible.

The all-time top flight league table

"If I could it would probably be Darren Ambrose, or maybe Glenn Murray. Or Yannick [Bolasie]," he said, when asking a question from a fan on Palace's Instagram account about the one player he would like to bring back to the club.

"Oh this is hard, it would be between them. They are all amazing, but I would say Darren Ambrose, some of the goals he scored, like the one against Manchester United. He could shoot from anywhere and score."

Ambrose was in the starting line up on the day Zaha made his debut for Palace, with the pair being team-mates for the next two seasons before Ambrose left to join Birmingham City in 2012.
