Wilfried Zaha gives verdict on Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Manchester United

Wilfried Zaha says he is not at all surprised by the impact Aaron Wan-Bissaka has had at Manchester United.

United spent £50m to sign the full-back from Crystal Palace last summer and he hit the ground running under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Wan-Bissaka has been a key part of the first team this season, leading to calls for him to get a first call-up to the senior England side.

Zaha himself knows how difficult it can be to make an impression at United having failed to settle during his two years at the club, but he isn't surprised to see Wan-Bissaka doing so well.

The duo played together at Crystal Palace and Zaha insists that the only big change for Wan-Bissaka is that he now has a bigger platform to perform on.

“He is very good, so hard to get past him," Zaha said on Instagram.

“Have I watched him at United? I've watched a few games, what I thought of him is what I thought before.

“Everything that people are saying now - calling him 'The Spider' - we knew before, it is just that he is playing in front of the world now.

“We were saying it all before but it is nice to see the world know it now.”
