Wilfred Ndidi issues transfer statement amid Manchester United speculation

Wilfred Ndidi insists he has 'no need to go anywhere else' amid reports linking him with Manchester United this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to bolster his midfield at the end of the season and Ndidi has been touted as one potential option for United to consider.

The Nigerian international has established himself as one of the most reliable midfielders in the Premier League during his time at Leicester.

Ndidi has played a key role in the success so far this season with Leicester currently third in the top-flight and in the last eight of the FA Cup prior to football's postponement last month.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium later this year, but now he has shot down any suggestions of an exit by insisting he is happy at the club.

“We are doing well and I am enjoying myself here," he told ESPN.

“I still have a contract with Leicester. I am learning and trying to improve myself every day and I am doing OK here, so no need to go anywhere.”
