Wiley: 100% Publishing – review

One of grime's most prolific stars, Wiley has a hard time making albums that do his sizable producing and rapping talents justice. He disowned 2008's See Clear Now, and then leaked 203 tracks online last July after disagreeing with his label about a follow-up. His album problems persist here. 100% Publishing has moments of brilliance, including the merrily capitalistic "Numbers in Action", but it is let down by lazy choruses and weirdly mundane lyrics (such as the line about losing his headphones and finding them again). It's perplexing, because the Londoner has talent to burn. Better luck next time.
